Erasing Personal Internet Information

On a recent podcast Clark said you could erase most of your personal information from the internet by going through Google , but he didn’t mention the specific steps required. I tried but couldn’t figure it out. Does anyone know the specific steps required?

This would be like “Wack-a-mole”. I do not think this would work.

Google Gemini can guide you through: Removing what Google “Knows” about you internally and what what a Google search about you will show. Both are fairly easy. Those steps will not remove your data from the original websites that are indexed by Google.

Some states have privacy laws that will help you remove some data.

There are commercial services which ‘may’ help remove some of your data from data brokers. I have not used it, but would probably try ‘Delete Me’ before the others.

try this. I get a notice from them from time to time that they’ve located another website where my name and information is located and I usually check the box to have it removed and they confirm with me when it is removed. So I think this is one way to remove your information if not just from Google searches.
