My SS no and personal info is on the dark web. I’ve been part of numerous data breaches. Several years ago someone tried to file my income taxes but TurboTax rejected that filing and I now get a pin every year for filing my fed taxes. Two weeks ago someone accessed my bank account and my Schwab account. I cough everything before losing money. I’ve been working on my cyber security by changing passwords, etc. Can I somehow get my personal info off the internet? Are there services that one can hire who do that for you? Can I get a new SS number since mine is on the dark web and if so, would the problems with that outweigh the good. (Thinking new passport, etc) My credit has been frozen for years.
