I have been buying the Long Loaves of Walmart Store Baked French Bread for over 5 years… cost $1 a loaf… quite a deal for excellent bread and price has not changed until now.
That loaf of this Bread today was $1.47… a 47% increase

Yeah, my wife says that whoever came up with groceries up 13% is an idiot.
The prices are still going up and the sizes are going down. Inflation & Shrinkflation are alive and well.
I pity the retired folks who thought they had just enough.
I doubt they wiill qualify to have their Student loans forgiven.
