eSIM Downside: no spares

I had an issue that exposed a problem with eSIMs: there is (yet) no spare to use. Unlike a physical SIM, if your eSIM becomes corrupted or has an issue, there are hoops you must jump through to remedy it, such as going to the mobile store. There is no spare eSIM you can load up (boggles my mind!).

It feels like Apple really wanted to push this eSIM quickly, for its own reasons, but I feel like the implementation needs a bit of work and consideration, for real-life application.

My current phone is a Pixel 7A. It has a physical sim slot (that I use) and an eSim. So that would solve your problem?
