CBS Paramount Drops Aussie Survivor

Our family has had Paramount+ for six months or so. One of the reasons we signed up is that we are big CBS Survivor fans.

A few months back they made three seasons of the Australian Survivor series available. We enjoyed seasons 4, 5 & 6. Then this January they made seasons 1, 2 & 3 available. We started watching season one and got through about half of it.

Then Australian Survivor disappeared from Paramount’s lineup! No explanation, no apology… just gone, all seasons! Grrr! :frowning_face:

Customer service seems to have taken a big hit just about everywhere.

I’ve done a little web research on the problem and it appears to be a licensing issue.

Somebody over at Paramount appears to have not been paying attention to those pesky little legal details.

Quite frankly, I wish Paramount+ would host a significant number of made-for-TV movies from the 1965-89 period. Such movies tend to marginalized, do they not?
