I have not been able to launch the last 2 episodes (10/3 and 10/6). I usually use iHeart Radio, but then also tried Spotify and Apple. Never a problem for many, many years - now nothing. I was able to watch and listen on YouTube. Anybody else having this problem?
I was using iHeartRadio and it looks like Alexa switched me to Amazon Music at some point.
I use Podbean and am not experiencing problems opening recent episodes
I’ve now also tried Podbean and Audacy with no luck. Very strange.
I also can’t launch any of Clark’s episodes.
Using Pocket Cast without any problems.
Me either.
Yes, I’m having the same problem. It started on 10/3. When I try to download ANY episodes (even past episodes that previously downloaded successfully) in either Overcast or Apple Podcasts apps on my iPhone, I get “Download Failed” and I’m unable to listen.
Frustrating. I even called the “Ask Clark” number and they took down the details of the problem. Something changed on 10/3 - my first day the issue started also.
Same problem. I’m using an ipad. I haven’t been able to get any podcast since 10/3.
I’m so sorry about this issue! We are actively investigating and hope to have a solution soon!
I’m having the same problem . . can’t play any of episodes . . even ones that I’d previously played will no longer play. I’m using the “Pocket Casts” App on a Samsung s24+ Galaxy phone. All the other podcasts I have on this phone are working perfectly. This problem first appeared last week.
I know this is going to be boring to a lot of you here. I don’t use a podcast app!
I go to the CH podcast page and download the MP3 file. Then use an MP3 app to listen to it. My android phone came with a MP3 player but you can download tons more.
Here is the official page: https://clark.com/podcasts/#podcasts
glasspilot- We all have alternate ways to get Clark on YouTube, mp3 downloads, etc. But when the app method on a cellphone or tablet that has worked on multiple music/podcast sites stops working, there needs to be a fix or a warning message. I’m glad to see someone from TeamClark has finally acknowledged that something has changed (since 10/3) that is affecting many fans.
Can’t download podcast on Spotify for about a week now
My Alexa uses Amazon Music and it works for me.
That route won’t work for me either.
I asked “can i access the clark howard podcast on amazon music without an amazon account”
No, you cannot access the Clark Howard podcast on Amazon Music without an Amazon account because access to Amazon Music requires an account, even for the free version which offers ad-supported content and podcasts. While the free tier allows access to podcasts and a selection of ad-supported music, a login is still necessary.
So, I believe that if you have a free Amazon account, you can get the podcast there for free. Someone may be able to verify this.
To listen to the Clark Howard podcast:
-
You will need to create an Amazon account if you don’t already have one.
-
Download the Amazon Music app for your iOS or Android device.
-
Log in to your Amazon account within the app.
-
Use the search function to find “Clark Howard” or the podcast menu to locate the podcast and begin listening.
Well, after decades of listening to Clark, I can’t get it anymore. It downloads but there’s no audio. I am not going to go to Amazon
There has been a change for me today. On my iPhone, with iHeartRadio, I can get the newer Clark episodes now! But still not Oct 2 and 3. But on my iPad, still nothing. I trust there is something going on to fix this for all. It’s just not the same to have to watch episodes on YouTube.
