I researched the best portable charger as i’ve been traveling more often lately and need a reliable way to keep my devices powered throughout the day. i have been experiencing battery anxiety when my phone, tablet, or earbuds run low on charge while i’m away from home or the office. i went through reviews from trusted sources like reddit, wirecutter, and tom’s guide and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices:
however, i am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and i would love to get your expert advice and hoping maybe some frequent travelers or experienced tech users on this forum can also share their advice. i usually charge my phone, wireless earbuds, and occasionally a tablet while traveling and need something reliable with good battery capacity and fast charging. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I’ve been using a few different portable chargers over the past couple of years, and honestly Anker has been the most reliable for me overall. Their power banks usually charge fast, stay cool, and hold battery capacity well even after long-term use.
For travel and daily carry, I personally like the smaller 10,000mAh models because they’re lightweight and easy to fit in a bag or pocket. If you charge multiple devices often, then a 20,000mAh model is probably worth it, especially for trips or long workdays.
A few things I’d definitely look for are:
Fast charging support (PD or Quick Charge)
USB-C input/output
Good safety protection against overheating
Airline-friendly battery size
Reliable brand reputation
I’ve also heard good things about UGREEN and INIU lately. Curious what models made your shortlist so far.
Zono1, I like Anker also. I was motorcycle camping and had to charge my PH in a tent with no elec. Went to Wally-World and bought an Anker charge battery. It would keep my PH charged the entire week or 2 trip. I still have it, it’s a (rare) high quality company.
