I purchase Google phones, usually every other year, but lately every year. A couple of years ago, I purchased the Pixel 6 Pro, then a year later the 7 Pro, now I have the 8 Pro. I know it’s not recommended, but I buy insurance from Google. I just received a refund of $171 from Google because I forgot to cancel the insurance on the Pixel 6 Pro when I traded it in for the Pixel 7 Pro. They noticed the mistake, emailed me and three days later I received the refund. Excellent customer service!
