Last year I unfroze my credit to purchase a vehicle. Actually it had been so long I forgot it was frozen. In the past few months I have received 3 different letters stating my PHI has been accessed. the incidents involved a dental practice, medical insurance I no longer carry, and a physical rehab company I used several years ago. I refroze my credit after the first letter and notified all financial instituitions I deal with. the letters all offer free credit monitoring for 2 years from the same “identity monitoring service”. I researched the company and found numerous bad ratings for their service. I have used Credit Karma for years and have had no issues. has anyone else had similar experiences or found bad reviews of credit monitoring companies?
