A parking ticket that was issued to me in error and was dismissed by the court was still sent to Collections I’m hoping that it will get resolved and working on that. However, I know once something gets into the system it so hard to get it out and may come back to haunt me. Any thoughts how to protect myself.
I would think that the court clerk can provide a document showing that the case was dismissed (and why).
In some states, court cases are posted on a county or state website and you may be able to print that document to submit to the collections agency.
