My 6-year old Intel NUC mini PC had a noisy fan so I replaced it with a fanless model. I didn’t pay much attention to the size when I ordered it but when I got the thing yesterday I was shocked at how small it was. It has an Intel Celeron N5105 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB on board eMMC storage, and the ability to expand internal storage up to 5TB via M2 SSDs. I/O is 4xUSB 3.0s, 2x HDMI, 10-baseT plug and WiFi 6, Bluetooth5.2, Gigabit Ethernet and 4K@60fps HDR video via both HDMI ports. It came with Win 11 Pro preinstalled… $300 in all.
The new unit with the latest Celeron chip seems to perform at least as well as the old one which had an I-5 processer, both have 8GB of RAM use Intel’s on-board graphics & which looks great on an OLED 4K TV.
