I am no longer with CapitalOne but wonder how I go about getting any of the settlement however small?
You can check out the website class action.org and search for the CapitalOne lawsuit. It will have a link to the lawsuit website and all the particulars.
Thank you.
Sorry but could not find anything on that website.
The article only says âcustomers will be notified.â It does not have a link to âopt-inâ as a customer.
Thank you.
I know itâs absurd, but the lawyers got most of the money. You might get a $10 check, and Iâm likely exaggerating. I have no sympathy for banks, airlines and homebuilder that go out of business.
There you go, likely nothing worth spit. I had not heard anything of a settlement.
Seems like I got into C1 via ING Direct, recommended by Clark years ago. They got absorbed. Sometime later I tried for a premium offered to take credit card. They sent a lower grade card with piddly credit limit like I had not seen in years. Tried again for âquickâ silver with some offered reward and got a QS card but again with a really low limit. They said my card did not âqualifyâ for the offered premium. Now they foo-barred my credit for a couple of years with âtoo many inquiresâ not any other issue. Concluded they are lying liars and closed it all.
Now recently they offer a reward to take a checking account. Only that goes over like a lead balloon because not only do they have to see valid ID, but they demand a selfie to go with it! Never have done that before and donât expect to now. C1 is good place to run from.
likely nothing. These class action suits are a joke.
I was involved in a class action lawsuit once and it took 10 years, and after administration fees, lawyer fees, and other fees I didnât understand, I laughed at the amount I received. .Not worth filling out the paperwork. Iâm laughing again, thanks for reminding me of the memories.
