Clark, I have a friend who is between jobs right now, and isn’t looking for work. The reason he doesn’t think he needs to work is he believes he has stumbled upon the investment opportunity of a lifetime! He says he is trading “crypto contracts” through some group of people who operate an AI bot that tells them exactly when to trade these “contracts”. He claims to be making investment “gains” that would make Warren Buffet blush, but admits he can’t pull any money out right now because he is under contract with this group till November 1. I worry that he burning through savings and risking his family’s well being by believing he is making thousands of dollars a day trading these so called “contracts”. Personally I have never believed in nor invested in crypto currency or anything related to it so am I just being biased or is my friend in for a huge dissappointment?
Yeah, I would say there is about a 95% chance he is getting scammed.
What did P.T. Barnum say?
99%, maybe 100%
Actually P.T. Barnum said “To the Egress” in addition to what you suggested.
He had a museum in New York that attraced so many people who would pay the entrence fee and stay inside all day. He posted a sign “To the Egress” and people thought it was an exciting new displat. It led to one door which closed behind them. Then a hallway and a second door to the street. Egress means exit.
Sounds like a scam! The only way to invest in Crypto is with an ETF at one of Clark’s 3 favorite Children. List to the Clark Stinks from I believe it was 6/28/24.
