What would be the best (most effective) group to make a donation to?
County Friends of Humane Society or local Animal Shelter?
I, personally, would look at the financials of each group to see where money is going (how much is going towards salaries vs. items or programs for the animals) or maybe visit both places to get a feel for the organization. Or…depending on how much you’re donating, you could send send half that amount to each.
