Years ago we switched to Brother and buy cheap ink from Amazon. Work great.
We have both an Ink Jet and Laser Printer from Brother!

Years ago I gave up on ink jet printers. At the risk of sounding like Clark I bought a Canon Laser all in one office printer. The toner cartridges last forever and I buy generic ones on Amazon. This thing just goes and goes. That’s what I wanted in a printer.
When I was working, we changed our corporate printers to Brother from HP. We had a lot of people who had their desktop printers…it was “too much trouble” for someone to use an network printer and have to walk a few feet to get their printout. And they had a lot of inkjet printers. We bought multiple cartridges and one day when people started replacing their ink cartridge that was brand new out of the box, found that they didn’t work since they were beyond their ‘expiration date’. There was no way around this and we ended up trashing several dollars worth of expired in cartridges. After that HP was “printer non grata” in our offices.
