Clark Howard should bring up the sad, unfortunate situation that’s mentioned in this article:
Very sad, but at the end, “what you can do to protect yourself from theft” was surprisingly weak and not very effective. I did like what one said about tracking on a smartphone. He said, “not everyone has a smartphone”.
This type of theft is enabled because of obviously out dated technology.
Some examples of technology that would prevent it are two factor authorization, use of finger print readers, and facial recognition.
Actually…if the US would have implemented chip & pin it would solve it as well…
