My thermostat goes up to 85 during the day (midweek). I have two huge trees that shade my house, so the indoor temp never gets up to 85. It comes down to 78 when I am home, although if it’s unusually hot outside, I’ll lower it to 75. If I get home during the day, it’s usually after a bike ride, so 80 degrees in the house feel pretty good. I’m on average pay (I pay basically the same rate year round) and it is $66 per month.
