- Once you get the membership - you are stuck with it til expiration
- That free Paramount + streaming is hard to figure out how I can use it.
- That free groceries delivery sounds good but many of the items delivered were wrong
- Some of the deliveries ask for tip for driver, not required, but there’s a little pressure to tip
- The pharmacy deliveries on some prescriptions sounded good but they did not activate my membership for free delivery - so I cancelled and went to the store to pick up. My last prescriptions delivery they wanted about $20 .
- Actually, I could list many more things, but there are too many things wrong or are not working on all the Walmart promises. Can’t compete with Amazon on delivery - fact.
Hello. I am Ilko, and I have been a W+ member since December 2024. I chose W+ services because I am an ADA with limited mobility. A few things I would like to add to the published article: It is nice to have it since you cannot go to the store; it is great to have one of the two streaming options. Cons: Most of the time, the products are not fresh; I am experiencing delivery delays, and several times they did not even come to the house, so I have to reorder it for the next day; they give you a ticket for that, $ 5.00?; If you place an order for other things, it is a 3+ day delivery. Just share my experience, you may try 30 days free trial before you make your decision. Amazon is great, but Whole Foods is about 25 miles away from my house; the WM Supercenter is less than 3 miles. Good luck, think also Kroger offers almost the same services.
I couldn’t use many of the benefits because they don’t service my area. So no for me.
I used to do the grocery shopping for two weeks at a time but it took two hours and I am older now. I have had very little trouble getting the correct items and can usually place an order a day in advance. The worst time they must have missed 18 items that were all refrigerated. SO I figure they left that part of the order in the color. Customer Service was very helpful and went over all the missing items and had them delivered that day. If I have bad produce or something they refund my money no questions asked. Best thing is that the pickers have to find the item when Walmart moved things around.
I had a spreadsheet to compare items from Walmart to Amazon. But when the 5% rewards card came out from One Pay for Walmart, it evened things up. It is interesting to see an item at Walmart “now priced at XX” and it matches the Amazon price. so they are watching each other. We like the Paramount + a lot.
