With the shift to EVs, more can be done with advanced computerization and AI than could ever be accomplished with internal combustion powered (ICE) cars.

Historically automakers have relied on a microcontroller-based architecture where over 100 microcontrollers and over a mile of cable are required to deliver modern experiences and
capabilities.

But computers and BEVs both use electricity to operate, so there’s no requirement to go through an extra step to convert an action from an electrical signal to a mechanical movement. It’s sorta like the BEV and the computer both speak the same language so no interpreter is needed.
