Fascinating… We lived in SF for years and used to make trips there for years, but stopped. The fun SF of our days is long gone.
There’s been a long-time cottage industry built around the eminent fall of all things California even from some residents, yet it continues to strive and produce. But, despite its many issues, it continues to thrive and produce. Lots of problems for sure, but a state with a population larger than most countries problems will always surface. You have to admire the way they usually manage to dodge the major bullets, or at least heal the wounds. Would I wish to live there, that would be a no. Today’s California is “No Country for Old Men”.
