Any comments on the new type of air conditioner called saddle air conditioner
Saddle air conditioners tend to be more popular than regular units because they are quieter and don’t completely cover the window. They appear to be more energy-efficient as well, but they are undoubtedly more expensive than typical window air conditioners.
I bought a Midea inverter window air conditioner (I never heard the term saddle, but it certainly applies, as the window slides down into the middle of the unit) a couple of years ago. It is much, much quieter than traditional window AC units, and also uses less electricity. I’m very pleased with it.
