Good day:
We are doing a last minute 4 day trip to Mexico city
Any insights tips, suggestions - Thank you. 2 seniors and a 35 yo
ATM Question: When we travel we typically use a checking account for local cash withdrawls at a Bank ATM. Any specific concern in Mexico. Just FYI, as a precaution, the checking is a travel checking and not our usual one.
Thank you

How was the trip to Mexico DF? Pictures or it didn’t happen!
On a side note, I’ve determined that if “weird things” happen with Flu and COVID vaccines this Fall (like… we don’t get any) I’m going to fly to Mexico City, walk into one of their big pharmacy chains, and get mine. You can even reserve your spot online.
I guess I could drive from Houston to Nuevo Laredo… but… ah… prefer not to.
From ChatGPT: "many farmacias (pharmacies) in Mexico offer vaccinations, especially larger chains like Farmacias del Ahorro, Farmacias Benavides, Farmacias Guadalajara, and others.
Sounds like a fun trip! For just 4 days in Mexico City, I’d recommend checking out the Zócalo, Chapultepec Park (the Anthropology Museum is great), Coyoacán for a relaxed vibe and Frida Kahlo’s house, and maybe a day trip to the Teotihuacan pyramids. Stick to bank ATMs like BBVA or Santander (go inside the bank if possible) and decline the currency conversion to get a better rate. Using a travel checking account is smart! Also, the city is at high altitude, so take it easy the first day and stay hydrated. If you’re curious about travel trends and tips, this article is helpful: Tourism in Mexico: Statistics 2025.
