I am new to listening to Kim Komando and have noticed during her podcast episodes that the content she talks about seems to be repeated quite often in another podcast. Does anyone else who listens to her notice that? I feel that it’s kind of a waste of time.
My computer guru is Leo Laporte. He’s been in the media for decades. Do any of you remember Tech-TV or ZD-TV? In the late 90’s he hosted Tech tv shows: Screen Savers, Call for help. Then he did radio shows. Now he’s doing Tech podcasts. Kinda like Kim but I like his style better, he dives a lot deeper into tech than Kim does.
I notice that on a lot of these shows. All stations cannot broadcast live and they get sold around to other stations. Also, weekends have a lot of prerecorded stuff on. Nothing unusual.
I listen on Spotify and haven’t noticed.
Is that “Ask Leo”? I watch his YouTube videos and receive his email newsletter.
I don’t listen to her show but have been receiving her email newsletter for several months. I unsubscribed two days ago though because it is too much to read and a lot of it is corny humor and promotion of various tech services like VPN’s and password managers etc.
No, that’s another Leo. Here is the one I’m talking about: https://twit.tv/people/leo-laporte
I’m curious about this also,…
Agree. I got her newsletter for awhile but got tired of reading her every thought. Seemed like a lot of repetitive rambling and shilling for various 3rd party services. Not a lot of substance. Maybe her show had more to offer but a daily newsletter was WAY too much (sorry Clark).
