I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I don’t see much downside if you’re only linking a card you already use and the offer terms are clear. I’d just make sure to check the participating merchants, expiration date, and whether there are any limits or exclusions. If it’s really just spending normally and getting rewards back, it seems like an easy bonus to try.
Yes there is definitely a down side. That is your “participating” vendor list. If you use one or more on the list, it would seem likely.
Only I see not many candidates! Offer expires 10 Sept but I am not getting close to Whataburger until 17 Sept so that is out. Newegg maybe, but one is not likely to spend less than a hundred there.
