Electricity is essentially monopolized and rates are tariffed, so I am not expecting a huge savings. A large part of the bill is non usage based in which you pay for the basic service even if you use 0 electricity. I would also be curious to know if gasoline prices will ever go down significantly when more electric cars are on the road.
