After lots of research and recommendations from family and friends we finally pushed the button on a home freeze-dryer appliance. Anyone else have one?

It was just delivered today, we’ll probably keep it in the garage. It’s pretty big so we bought a cart to put it on so we can move it around when we use it. With the vacuum pump it weighs 140 lbs so it’s not a kitchen counter-top appliance.
I’ll post an update when we get it going.
