Ford, GM, Mercedes come clean on EV demand weakness

:slightly_smiling_face: Wudda, cudda shudda… but they’ve only had 129 years to make the thing go. Why didn’t the people of Texas tap into it in the last couple of years during all the power balckouts they suffered?

I say we give’em another three weeks to get it going… deal??

I didn’t say “magic,” I said “magical thinking,”… there’s a difference! :slightly_smiling_face:

BP recently announced it would purchase $100 million worth of Tesla Superchargers

Exxon Mobil bought up 120,000 acres of land in Arkansas earlier this year with plans to extract and process lithium

it’s clear that oil giants like Shell, BP, and Exxon Mobil want to profit off of how people get around — regardless of the fuel source.

“Magical Thinking” has nothing to do with magic. It does not describe something a person might mistakenly believe. It is the belief that a person’s inner thoughts can control the physical world.

Your source(s) of information on the subject of electrical power production and distribution and your goofy attempt at trying to meld the subject of magical thinking into the discussion is mildly amusing.

You either don’t grasp the basics of the two subjects or you are simply cutting and pasting the output of a chatbot. The output is a hodge-podge of disconnected and randomly structured statements concerning potential energy sources, basic electrical theory and physics.

Your chatbot failed you again. To confuse the sources for power production with the challenges of storing electrical power itself is not something a normal thinking logical adult would do.
