We will be renting a vehicle when we travel soon and have our own E-Z Pass transponder. What is the best way to block the use of the rental vehicle’s transponder if it comes already equipped with one?
Its been about 3 years since I rented but the car I had , You could slide a cover over the transponder so it could not be read by the system and we used our own , placed on the dashboard. You might be able to remove it and put it in the glove box, Check with the car rental company.
