Can't log into my Credit Karma account using my password

I can no longer log into my Credit Karma account using my password. Every time I try to log into my Credit Karma account using my password, I get an error message. I used to be able to log into that account by having a code sent to a certain email address of mine or a certain cell phone number of mine, but those options are no longer available. If I remember correctly, the problem started not long after I changed the email address associated with my Credit Karma account to one associated with DuckDuckGo. Should I even bother creating a new Credit Karma account using a different email address? What if the same basic problem reoccurs? I have contacted Credit Karma repeatedly about my problem, but it seems to be that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing, if you know what I mean.

I feel your pain. That happened to me with a gmail account years ago, when I forgot the password and couldn’t access the backup email account because it was a business email from a prior job.

I use annualcreditreport.com to check my credit files annually, but I find Credit Karma useful for notifying me of unusual credit activity. If you don’t have access to your back up email account to regain access, you may be out of luck. I think the service is worthwhile, and I’d sign up again with another email, and this time use an email address that you know you’ll keep long term as your back up access. Also, since Credit Karma was bought out by Intuit, I’d opt out of data sharing.

I just logged in to Karma and had no problems. But both of you have had changes to your login. Good luck You may need to create a new account.

Try logging in to Credit Karma from a different browser like Firefox Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, whichever one you don’t usually use. Also you could try using your customary browser and delete the cookies cash and history from at least since whenever it was working last. That can be troublesome sometimes if you rely on your internet history like I do, but it might solve the problem. Also you can try to make sure you don’t have any extensions running they could be blocking something like a pop-up coming up where they’re trying to confirm something. It’s likely not related to your account but more a software issue. You could also try logging in from a different computer that you don’t ordinarily use but you do trust. Let us know what happens.

I login CK via FF. (I don’t have the vpn version yet) DDG has an anti track back feature that won’t let sites verify who you are or your devices.
I have the same issues with my grocery store logins, and a few more using DDG.
Love their security efforts but sometimes you just need to be tracked, lol.

Personally, I like having a Credit Karma account. I can log in with my password or have a code sent to my phone. Might DuckDuckGo help? I would try setting up another account, however, Credit Karma may detect a duplicate and nix that. Annoying!

I’ve run into similar login issues with websites before, and switching browsers or clearing the cookies usually helped. I’d probably try the password reset and phone verification first before creating a new account. Hopefully it’s just a browser issue and not something wrong with the account itself.

I’ve tried using DuckDuckGo, but my problem persisted. No offense, but as far as my Credit Karma account has been concerned, I haven’t been able to have a code sent to my cell phone as of late. For whatever reason, that option was done away with.

That’s frustrating, especially if the phone verification option used to work for you. In that case, I’d avoid creating a second account and focus on recovering the existing one. Hopefully Credit Karma has another verification or account-recovery option available, since having the password alone doesn’t help much if the login process is blocking you.
