What welcome bonus amount were you offered, if you’ve recently applied for an Amex card?
I applied for the Blue Cash Everyday because I wanted a no annual fee card with the option of primary rental car insurance coverage. Amex advertises a welcome bonus of “up to $200” when the cardholder spends $2000 within 6 months.
Despite an excellent credit score, I was only offered a $150 bonus, and AMEX declined to tell me why despite my asking. They also wouldn’t give any information about who would qualify for the $200.
