It’s been a few years since I’ve ordered airline tickets. In the past I ordered from online sites or through the airline directly.
What sites do you recommend? I hear negatives about Priceline sometimes. Kayak? Expedia?
I always start with Google flights and that’s what Clark recommends:
I’d try them all for short notice and a specific destination.
If you are flexible on timing, try signing up for FF status and email notice for special deals. In the past we’ve gotten RT tickets to the South Pacific, NZ and AUS for $650 to $900 by signing up for special deals on Air New Zealand.
Use the online sites to compare prices but ALWAYS order directly from the airline, hotel, car rental company, etc, etc. If something goes wrong you won’t end up caught in the middle of two companies both denying responsibility.
