Windows 11 Is a Lost Cause. Truly Destined for the Garbage. Don't Upgrade from 10

Yes, my husband and the man who designed our system agree. We have not upgraded from 10

Lack of security updates is forcing my boss to transition our work computers to Windows 11. He hasn’t yet done so, and hates the need, but can’t allow the growing vulnerability of our network.

I’ve been running Win11 home edition for some time now on my hope PCs, and yeah, it’s worse than Win10. Reminds me of the “Millennium Edition” fiasco.

Agree all the way!! Microsoft has repeatedly disappointed. Upgrade and you get a worse software package and a slower PC in most cases due to the resource heavy new software. XP was probably the last good and solid product in my opinion.

I’ve been putting off upgrading for months and see no reason to do so. I do not like the looks of Windows 11 and while I know users can tailor it to look more like Windows 10, I don’t feel I should have to go through the hassle. Thank you for confirming that I made the right choice.

@TheBeat_GoesOn I totally agree with you – XP was the last of the best!

I just upgraded 2 laptops that I’ve configured it to look like Windows 7 using Open Shell. I did a clean install and will try out Win 11 to see what I think. I decided it was a necessary upgrade in order to receive security patches and software updates.

I’ve been progressively disappointed in Microsoft over the last 10 years, and I’m considering moving to Linux. I’m not an IT guy, but I understand it’s developed to the point where average users can transition fairly easily. It even works well on older laptops with slower processors.
