We have, but not as much as we thought we would. My parents lived about 1,200 miles away, and we made that trip once or twice a year until they die a decade ago. We both enjoy long road trips and we’ve taken several of those, in many directions. We’ve taken a few trips that require flying, but neither of us enjoy the serious hassle of flying (no bridges to Hawaii, Iceland or the UK yet). Looking at potentials for 2023, maybe the Pacific NW or the Canadian Atlantic Provinces (which would be a 7-8,000 round trip).
We’ve considered visiting Poland also, but I think we’ll wait on that one.
