I received unsoliciated chime credit card and debit card in mail. These are real cards, with real name.
is this how Chime markets their services? Or should I be worried that someone opened an account in my name.

You should notify Chime to cancel the cards, check your credit report to look for any other suspicious activity and freeze your credit if you have not previously done so.
I remember back in the day CC companies would send you “pre-approved” CC’s in the mail. Not a good idea!
Called Chime. Chime is cancelling account.
Interesstingly, Chime wouldn’t be able to tell us if any email id was used while opening the account (But if you look at Chime workflow, it only starts after email id).
Also no credit enquiries were created at any of the bureaus. May be that is because this was a “secure” card product from Chime that only works if you add a balance? Chime wouldn’t tell.
