My employer has not provided me with my usual 1099 NEC which reflects almost my total income. If he doesn’t come through, how should I report my income which mostly comes from him?
Make sure the income was not reported on another form such as a 1099 MISC. If you are certain what the income amount is, you can still report the income without the 1099 NEC. If you eventually receive the 1099 NEC, and the amounts differ, you may need to file an amended return to make the correction.
