NewsNation: "50% of parents financially support their adult children: Study | On Balance"

I hope this video isn’t too political.

Not political at all. The greatest financial lessons for me was living in Taiwan, and learning how the Chinese handle money. In addition to their draconian saving plans, their children had to earn their allowances,

It was a great day when I was having dinner at a restaurant with my son and his family and he picked up the check.

Parents should try to get their children to be self-sufficient. Kids do not want to take a step down in their standard of living to get a start of being on their own.

I know some situations where a child went to college, then moved back into the house with the parents, then got married, stayed in the house with the parents, then had a baby, stayed in the house with the parents! Wow!!! When will this end? The parents are at fault for letting this happen.
