The new format with Wes Moss standing in for Clark on Tuesdays and Thursdays is ok but definitely not as good as Clark himself. I also find if awkward how Christa is always gushing over the guy. I think she has the hots for the Moss Man.
I was a little worried that this would become more of a marketing segment for Wes Moss and his his financial advisory company, but so far it has been fairly independent advice. I definitely miss having Clark 5 days a week.
In all fairness, Wes kind of looks like he could be an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I tried listening to 2 of Wes podcasts and I couldn’t make it through any of them. No offense to him but he seems kinda bland. But I’m sure he just needs to open up more, which I’m sure he will as it all progresses. And while on the subject, I don’t really care for Christa either, which is I’m sure is playing a role in why I don’t care for the Wes podcasts. Now if Clark was on there talking with Wes, I would probably really like it. No offense to Wes or Christa, but Clark is the reason why I listen to the podcast, as you can really feel his passion he has for his fellow human being. Not that Wes or Christa don’t, but they just don’t have Clarks enthusiasm or radio personality.
I haven’t gotten much of the Moss podcasts so far but then again my investments are on “set and forget” so I wouldn’t make any moves no matter what he said. Clark is more entertaining and has a broader scope of information while Moss seems to be all about retirement.
I was already listening to Moss so I enjoy his content. He also covers happiness in retirement so it’s got something for the set and forget crowd.
I trust Wed and it’s a good fit for Clark Howard listeners and it doesn’t have to be the same topics as Clark.
Christa also looks like she has the hots for Clark. And she is not qualified to talk on investments.
I haven’t listened to Clark in a month or so, is he only doing three days a week now?
This isn’t really appropriate. I have never heard Christa make investment recommendations. She is certainly allowed to express an opinion or echo the comments of Clark and Wes.
Yes, Clark started doing podcasts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays this year. Wes Moss is hosting an Ask an Advisor podcast that airs on Tuesdays. Hope you continue to listen!
Not liking it much, so I stopped listening. I like to have financial information more separate from politics- I have no idea why Clark would pick some like Wes, who is a founding member of Truth Social
While I dont care if someone is a democrat or republican or independent or whatever….. this is too much for me
I have not heard him bring up anything political on his segments…just giving investment advice.
I don’t care for Moss or Crista. Once Clark stops doing the podcast/youtubes, I’ll be done as well.
Also here lately, Clark is being really annoying with all this tariff whining. I swear I ain’t ever seen Clark so pissy for someone trying to bring jobs back to America instead of relying on imported cheap goods from corrupt countries like China. Yeah tariffs aren’t good for our wallet right now, but in the long run it will benefit the American people.
Products used to be made in the US in a much larger scale than what we have today. Look at how much pollution China produces. You think China has environmental laws like the US does? You think India has environmental laws like the US does? You bring these production plants back to the US, and it’ll create more jobs for Americans. Not to mention the side effect of it being better for the planet, as the US has agencies, like the EPA to name just 1, that will put restrictions on these facilities to clean up their pollution.
Also there was a video on youtube I’ve seen recently, showing no one other than the corrupt old Nancy Pelosi back in the 90s talking about jobs in China vs US. In her example, Chinese jobs supported by US trade was at 10,000,000 compared to US jobs supported by Chinese trade was only 170,000.
My uncle worked at a factor back in the 90s in a small town in GA, and Walmart came in and wanted to sell their goods at all their stores across the US. Problem is, they wanted the factory to shut down and move it completely overseas so they could get cheap labor. My uncle said that the company wouldn’t do it as they weren’t going to lay off all these people that they actually cared about. And have any of you ever seen a product at Walmart that was made in the US (not talking about produce, which many isn’t even from the US either)?
Automatic skip for me. Not interested.
Yes let’s talk about the EPA headed by oil guy Lee Zeldin who is trying to cut the budget by 65% Also trying to enact a dictum stating pollution doesn’t cause climate change. He used to be a climate moderate and is now championing the will of the climate denier in chief (it’s a hoax.) With a drill baby drill mentality and Mr. Zeldin as the Administrator, I don’t see EPA as a protector of the environment.
I came to this forum to see if anybody was talking about this.
He needs to go. His political background is too much.
