Downloaded the MS health check ap and ran it. Decided to change the name of this machine. No good reason why, just tried it. My machine is a Dell G7 7700 so figured that would a good name.
Apparently not. It says I can use any combination of letters and numbers, but it does not like mine. Of course, it does NOT what is wrong. Grrrrrr
Perhaps the spaces are an issue
Replace the spaces with hyphens.

Ahhhh…okay [why didn’t I think of that?]
But also it’s a computer. It should have told you spaces aren’t allowed.
Computers don’t care, they just do what they are told to do. Evidently, an explanation of this exception is not among it’s priorities… but I’ve found that if it has not implemented voice recognition you can insult it verbally and get away with it with it…
