Clark Talked about a Door Stop for Hotel Safety - can't find that brand

I listened to Clark’s recent podcast about hotel safety where he mentioned the Door Stop. I can’t seem to find this particular brand (or maybe it is just a description?) Anyway, I did find this on Amazon and wonder if it is what he was talking about: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HM7X6TT/?tag=best-door-security-bar-20&asc_source=browser&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bobvila.com%2Farticles%2Fbest-door-security-bar&ascsubtag=0000BV0000151539O1859090620231104170413+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++&th=1
It’s not cheap, but if anyone knows specifically what he was talking about, I would love to have the name or where to purchase them. I want to get for my daughters, who travel quite a bit and I worry about their safety. Thanks!

It’s not cheap? $30 is less than a third of the cost of one night in a crappy hotel. There are cheaper ones (slightly different design, probably copycats) for $22 if you scroll down to the “Compare with similar items” section.

Clark mentioned he only paid a few dollars for whatever he has, so I am not sure if this is the one that he recommends and uses since it is close to $30. That’s what I meant about not being cheap.

There’s a different device in the "Compare with similar items” section for $8. I didn’t hear the segment, so I don’t know if that could be what he was talking about.

Here’s a portable door alarm that’s easy to set up. I used one like it for years and I even used it when camping when bears were around. Here are amny. I would look up reviews for them though.

This is the door stopper Clark held up during the podcast (you can see it if you watch the YouTube version of the show). It’s just a basic brown door stopper, no fancy brand or anything, that can be found almost anywhere.

Here’s one for the same $1.99 he paid: https://www.grainger.com/product/451J76?gucid=N:N:PS:Paid:GGL:CSM-2295:4P7A1P:20501231&gclid=Cj0KCQiAo7KqBhDhARIsAKhZ4ui0McdIsTneJ8LW7zt9-bXJ2kD-tp6emHWzjLtdAyK-KU8u37EwTuUaAsIUEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

We got a lot of Clark Stinks about it not being secure enough. You can get one with a siren for an extra layer of protection. Hope this helps! :green_heart:

Thank you very much for this. I did want to know what he was talking about and the photo says it all!
