Can You Pay Part B Premium with a Credit Card

AH HA I will double check for credit card fees!

According to the Medicare site it looks to be free.

I signed up for the original Medicare 12 years ago along with Blue Cross Blue Shield plan F. So far I have been happy with my decision.

Until something happens that puts you completely underwater.

I have been paying the Part B premium on my American Express card for the past 2 years with no fee charged for using the card. I have not been notified (yet?)

that this will change in 2026. My wife is drawing Social Security so her Part B premium is deducted from the monthly SS payment prior to being deposited into her bank account. We both have our Medicare Supplement premiums deducted monthly from our joint checking account, so no payment fee there either.
