I see Bilt has come out with new credit cards. My apartment complex charges about 3% on rents paid by a credit card, and is not part of the Bilt chain. Is there a way to benefit from Bilt and avoid the fee on my monthly rent?
If your landlord allows payment via ACH or check, then yes. Bilt provides you with an assigned rent account (e.g., routing and account number) to pay for your rent very similar to a bank transfer (not a credit card), which often eliminates the 3% service fee that is applied when renting from unpartnered properties. Also, if your landlord requires payment via check only, they have the ability to send a check directly to your landlord at no additional charge.
The only option for you to pay with a credit card would be to incur the service fee (typically around 3%) for using a credit card as payment.

Yes, as the previous commenter said. I love Bilt, as it also has good rewards categories, 6x points on “Rent Day” for restaurant purchases, etc.
