Always watching out for fees

When paying bills, I like to use the biller’s website and use a cash back credit card to pay the bill. This method ensures prompt posting of my payment and provides cash back to me.

Some billers will charge a fee to use the credit card. In that case, I still use the biller’s website but select the eCheck method or debit to make the payment. These methods are usually free. I have one biller that has started to charge a fee for the eCheck method. In that case, I use my bank’s bill paying system to pay the bill.

It now seems that companies want to charge you a fee for paying your bill. It is so frustrating. I wonder how many people do not pay attention to these fees and simply pay them.
