I checked with AMEX They said their rental insurance is not good in Europe. I came across an article in Frommers: Why You Should Think Twice Before Buying Rental Car Insurance From Expedia and Others | Frommer’s (frommers.com) They said purchasing insurance through third parties like Expedia does not work. The car rental company wants $40 per day whereas Priceline and Expedia only wants $10 per day. I have never filed a claim but would prefer not to rely on my own insurance which, if needed would raise my rates here in the USA Any thoughts?
