Auto Insurance Claim Denial and Unlisted Drivers

If auto insurers are only covering listed drivers, then auto insurance should be a “driver’s license policy” that covers anything you are driving and not any specific vehicle. These policies are significantly cheaper than vehicle-specific policies.

States need to step up and demand that auto insurers write fair policies and cover claims without unnecessary delays.

Auto insurers are inviting draconian regulation.
