YAY! CC Debt Gone

I was the one that posted about some hefty CC debt a few months back.

As of July 9th it’s gone.

Back in late April the HR dept came to me at work and said I have to get some vacation days off the books (we can roll them year to year) So they made me an offer of giving me an extra days pay per week for the rest of the year which I of course accepted, after which I will still have 2 weeks or so if I want to take a week off later in the year.

I took the extra pay and applied it to my CC debt each week.

I found an envelope that I had written on dated 12/23/2017, my debt peaked at 56,760.17 among 9 cards. (yikes)

Now I will be putting 50-60 a week into an emergency fund.

Special thanks to those here that dissuaded me from using my Roth (I was close to doing it).
