I try to maximize every card on every purchase. My best deal was when I needed to buy new flooring. Found what I wanted at Home Depot. I don’t have an HD CC so . . . I went through Swagbucks.com to buy 8 $500 HD gift cards (Got $80 from SB pts.) and charged it to my 2% CC ($80 saved) Took a friend with me (Army Veteran) who got 10% off the price of the flooring ($400 saved). All totaled I saved $560 on the $4K purchase!
Just have to plan ahead! I basically saved 14% on the flooring.
