Vanguard ETF rates:
What is PA? You can buy ETFs on your own, and not sure how much more the fees are for IE. intelligent portfolio? ETFs do have built in minor fees. I have VG VOO, and a dividend ETF, and VOO is my favoriatre. I also have a health mutual fund with VG, which has done well, but non of it is managed, other than the small ETF fees that are built in.
For most people the ETFs should be the easiest way to invest, and if they are indexed you do not pay a human for anything.
NO. ETFs take away need for human help. I was in both a energy and mineral mutual fund before ETFs with Vanguard, whih are “sectors”, and over 20 yrs did not do well, but I like their VOO ETF, and have a Health fund (before ETFs) Since ETFs cover same companies, I guess i could put the fund into the ETF, but i do not want to cash anything out, as those are good.
If you have the individual stocks, a manager may help, but you would have to compare with how you do on your own. I tell anyone who likes risk, to take the top holdings in a ETF or Fund, and just invest what you would spend in the Casino.
ETF actually does the same thing., and less likely to make a mistake.
PA is personal advisor service at Vanguard. Not sure what IE is…
