USAA Auto Insurance-hit deer

My wife hit a deer in her 2017 cruze. Damage to hood, headlight, front quarter panel, front skirt, but that is it… No damage to radiator or ac, thankfully…

I think repairs will be 3-5K. Deductible is $500…

Any experience with this sort of claim in Ga? Any idea how much rates will go up after this sort of accident?

You may want to get an estimate for the repairs prior to contacting insurance.

I’ve known a lot of people who have hit deer, in Ga. I’ve not known any whose rates increased from that one incident.
