I guess they can “feel hostile” or just close up altogether. Take your pick.

And now Nordstroms is closing both its stores there.

They could just choose to pack up and leave like many other retailers in San Francisco. Its an unfortunately bi-product of woke politics and apathy toward crime. The same thing is happening in Portland. They have something in common…

Clarification: The Safeway in question is located in Oakland. The two Bay Area Nordstroms that are slated to close this year are currently located in San Francisco.
