We are trying to plan a May 2022 trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. We would like suggestions on a tour group which includes flights from and back to Quito to the islands and then a sleep on the boat tour around the islands. (as opposed to being based on an island and day touring). We will plan our trip to Quito from JFK.
Any thoughts on how many days are needed? On a prelim basis, we’ve seen trips between 5 and 8 days offered.
Are there any local companies anyone would recommend?
If anyone has gone, any other insights, suggestions and things to or not to do?
Just BTW, we’ve traveled to Peru’s Sacred Valley and up the Amazon river as well as traveling around Columbia so we’ve done some traveling in SA. And I’d be happy to share thoughts on those.
